Refund Policy

Wright starts with a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before day 15, you pay nothing, ever. The trial is the inspection window for the first app, not the full length of the course. If you keep going after day 14, the membership is $97 a month. This page explains exactly when a charge happens, what is refundable, and how to cancel. We have tried to keep it plain.

The 14-day free trial

When you start, you get a 14-day free trial. During those 14 days, no charge is made to your card. The trial exists so your kid can build the first inspectable app before you decide whether to keep Wright. It is not the full length of the course.

You are not charged unless you keep Wright past the trial. If you cancel before day 15, you pay nothing. There is no partial charge and no setup fee during the trial.

The guarantee

The only guarantee we make is this: if there is no real first app worth keeping before day 15, you pay nothing. If you cancel before day 15, no charge is ever made. The trial is genuinely free unless you choose to continue.

When you are charged

After the trial starts, the first charge happens on day 15 if you keep Wright. That charge is $97 and begins your monthly membership. The same $97 charge repeats on the same day each month thereafter for as long as your membership is active.

All charges are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe sends you a receipt for every charge.

Monthly charges are not refundable

Once a monthly charge is made, it is not refundable. This includes the day 15 charge and every monthly charge after it. You are paying for access to the membership for that month, and access is granted the moment the charge succeeds.

You can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Cancelling stops the next scheduled charge. It does not refund charges that have already been made.

How to cancel

You can cancel in any of these ways:

  • From the dashboard. Sign in and cancel in a couple of taps. This is the fastest way and it stops the next charge right away.
  • By replying to the reminder email. We send you a reminder before day 15. Reply to that email asking to cancel and we will cancel it for you.
  • By emailing us at [email protected]. Tell us the email you signed up with and we will cancel it for you.

We send you a billing reminder before the first charge so it does not arrive as a surprise. If you cancel before day 15, no charge is ever made.

Chargebacks

If you do not recognize a charge or believe a charge is wrong, contact us first before disputing it with your bank or card issuer. Email [email protected] and we will look into it and reply promptly. Most issues are resolved faster directly with us than through a card dispute.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us does not speed up a resolution and may delay access to the membership. Monthly charges that were correctly made under this policy are not refundable, and disputing a valid charge does not change that.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Any change to the refund terms for an active membership will apply only to charges made after the change takes effect. Questions about anything here can go to [email protected].
